Abstract

A protocol for multiple shoot regeneration in Centella asiatica, a medicinally valuable plant, is developed. Supplementation of MS medium with BAP (1.0 mg/l) and adenine sulphate (0.072 g/l) enhances shoot multiplication from leaf explants up to 11shoot buds per explant and 14-15 leaves per shoot
