Wrightia indica Ngan is an endemic Apocynaceae species collected from Sitheri hills of Dharmapuri district in the Southern Eastern Ghats of Tamil Nadu. Morphological and molecular identification of species was observed by analyzing the chloroplast DNA regions using ITS marker and generated sequences
