Abstract

Indigofera cordifolia Hyene ex Roth.a dicotyledonous plant. It is a member of fabaceae family of herbs, shrubs and trees with a great variety of habitat, distributed in temperate and tropical areas. Indigofera is a large genus consisting of over 800 species all over the world (Hutchinson, 1964).
